Video Time: How to install a smart lock

People ask me all the time about the best smart lock for their home. I’m a fan of Schlage locks (and not just because they sponsored the podcast and newsletter a few weeks back) because they are more durable than the Kwikset locks I currently have on my door. That being said, the August locks work well, especially if you like the looks of that lock. August is a different install than a full lock replacement like I did (in the video below) with a Schlage lock. My goal is to show people how easy it is to install a lock and offer a few tips gleaned from my experience. It’s also a nice demo of HomeKit. Installing a smart lock can be very beneficial to your home and could be an easier alternative for you to have.
